Draxxin Injectable Solution

 For use in beef cattle, non lactating dairy cattle, veal calves and swine.  Draxxin Injectable solution is a ready to use sterile preparation containing tulathromycin, delivering efficacy for control and treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) right from the start.
For suckling calves, dairy calves and veal calves, DRAXXIN is approved for the treatment of BRD associated with M. haemolytica, P. multocida, H. somni and M. bovis. DRAXXIN is also for the treatment of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis and foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii in beef and nonlactating dairy cattle.

  • DRAXXIN® is one of a few anti-infectives approved for the treatment of BRD caused by all four major pathogens, including Mycoplasma bovis, to help keep calves healthy.
  • To administer DRAXXIN®, inject subcutaneously in the neck as a single dose of 2.5 mg/kg (1.1 mL/100 lb.) body weight (BW). Contact your veterinarian to get the auto-dose syringe — a syringe specially designed for use with DRAXXIN.
  • Do not inject more than 10 mL per injection site.
  • Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older.
